Exbury Lachenalias

In March each year, NAAS members are invited to view the display and propogation of Lachenalias.

Although Lachenalias are not part of the Amaryllid family, they are also bulbs from southern Africa. Many members appreciate growing them as they require similar conditions but flower at a different time from autumn flowering Amaryllids such as Nerines.

2026

This year, member Roy Prior, has provided photos of the beautiful exhibition of Lachenalias and Orchids on display in the Five Arrows Gallery. Yet again, Theo has put on an amazing display that showcases the plants superbly.
