2026 Spring Flowering Amaryllid Competition - Voting is now closed

[Thank you, everyone who voted and, especially, thank you to everyone who entered a photo of their blooms. It is always good to see these beautiful and interesting plants which we do not have a chance to view at the AGM later in the year.]

Following the success of previous years' online competitions for Spring flowering Amaryllids, we again invited members to submit photos of their bulbs flowering between January 1st 2026 and May 31st 2026.

Members are able to vote by email to nerinesociety@gmail.com for what they judge to be the best plant (rather than best photograph) on the basis of one vote per member.

Voting will close on Sunday 21st June.

The result will be announced in  the next Newsletter. The winner will receive a small cash prize and a certificate exactly as do the winners of the AGM Beauty Contests.
